Dignity for All Students Act (6 Hour Training Course)

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) requires that all students applying for certification as of December 31, 2013, have 6 hours of coursework or training on the social patterns of harassment, bullying, and discrimination. As mandated by NYSED, this training consists of 6 total hours. You will do three hours at your own pace at home and three hours face-to-face via Zoom. Simmons Seminars of Western New York is an approved provider for this training.

Registration deadline: Registration for each session will close two days before the seminar. For example, if the seminar is scheduled for a Saturday, registration will close on Thursday.

In addition, the email associated with your PayAl account is the email we use to send you seminar resources.

Certification: Upon successful completion of the seminar, you will receive a certificate of completion. This is the ONLY document that you will receive for your records. After our instructor determines that you have satisfactorily completed the seminar, The New York State Education Department (NYSED) will receive notification that you have completed the course, and the training will appear under the "Workshops" section of your TEACH account by the end of the month you have completed the training in.
